Lehigh Valley Health Network Strategic Engagement Lead in Allentown, Pennsylvania

Job Summary: The Strategic Engagement Lead is a business development asset reporting to the Director, Strategy and Business Development, working closely with Populytics, Lehigh Valley Physician Hospital Organization (LVPHO) and Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) colleagues and leadership to advance education, engagement and adoption of LVHN's payer collaborations and business-to-business initiatives within the regional employer footprint. This role incorporates strategic planning, understanding of market dynamics and opportunities for cultivation of relationships with employers and industry partners to facilitate new business growth and client retention to meet corporate goals. The Strategic Engagement Lead must be capable of interactions with a senior clinical, administrative, human resources and payer executives and have the competency to manage a diverse portfolio of projects.

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Marketing or related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in business development, marketing or sales is required. Must possess current PA Accident and Health certification and have the capacity to complete required continuing education to maintain licensure. Ability to function in a business development environment that requires the identification of market opportunities and development and execution of business development activities designed to act on those opportunities. Ability to work with colleagues and external leaders. Strong written, analytical and sales skills essential. Demonstrate confidence and executive presence in internal and external business interactions. Persuasive, articulate, skilled communicator. Must possess high energy, be results oriented, and possess strong problem solving and project management skills. Must demonstrate ability to use good judgment to solve problems and the ability to initiate, accept and adapt to change. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle a high-volume of details, managing work to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) or more years in healthcare business development, marketing, insurance or sales; Exceptional business and sales skills; Healthcare certification/training or experience in the healthcare sector and fluency in healthcare issues and/or population health highly desired; Experience managing book of insurance business highly desired.

Licensure and Certifications: Life, Accident and Health License from the Commonwealth of PA required.
